There are times when patient is either unable to come to the office for evaluation or need care outside of usual office hours. In such cases, if appropriate a telephone or video consultation will be performed. This includes assessment of the health condition, accessing & reviewing of relevant medical records, creating a plan of care, sending in prescription to your pharmacy (if needed) and appropriate documentation as required by state law. Consultation fee will be dependent on the time/effort needed and will be billed to you if not covered by insurance company.
Please note that Telehealth visit has its limitations and is not a substitute for office evaluation. Please make an appointment to see me or go to immediate care center if expected course is not followed or you have any further concerns.
